M410 heavy machine gun, also known as M410 40mm dual heavy machine gun/flank mounted is a HMG in use during the Second human-Covenant war.
Background
The M410 is commonly fixed to the main fuselage of the D79-TC Pelican gunship variant. It fires 40mm gas-jacketed, depleted uranium rounds. The operator sits in a bucket-seat, they generally provide ground support during deployment and exfiltration of military personnel.[1]
