- "Jones ate it."
- — Mutuku reports the discovery of Jones' death
Jones was a UNSC Orbital Drop Shock Trooper stationed on the UNSC Midsummer Night. He was killed on Metisette, during the battle to destroy The Redoubt when his Single Occupant Exoatmospheric Insertion Vehicle landed hard on the surface. Jones was killed on impact. His body was later discovered by Mutuku, another ODST.[1]
