A bureaucrat can assign or revoke user rights and rename user accounts.

Historically, bureaucrat rights were granted on Halopedia at the same time as adminship. However, the accepted practice is to now only grant adminship following successful RfAs. Current bureaucrats are listed here.

• Special:UserRights
  • Grant and revoke rollback status from a user, in accordance with the policy.
  • Grant (or revoke) administrator and bureaucrat status to a user, in accordance with the policy.
• Special:RenameUser
  • Rename a user as per their request at the request page.
