The Gravity Wrench is a deleted Covenant weapon intended for an early version of Halo: Combat Evolved. It was possibly the inspiration for the Plasma Pistol, and may have provided titular basis for the Gravity Hammer. In addition, it appears to be wielded like a flamethrower, or in Halo 3, other Support Weapons. It may have been intended to be used as a maintenance device by the Covenant although, Bungie stated that it did more damage than repairs.
