The Golden Methane Hydrate Mines of Sabator are a fabled collection of mines rumored to be hidden somewhere on the extragalactic Forerunner installation, Installation 00. Prior to making the journey to the Ark onboard the Enduring Conviction, the Unggoy serving the Banished known as Yapyap was told of them by a Kig-Yar fortune-teller. After arriving at the Ark, he eventually broke away from Atriox's thrall in order to go in search of these mines.[1]
