Ghibalb is the original homeworld of the Forerunners, with the race being seeded on the planet by the Precursors around 15,000,000 BCE.[1] It is located in the outer edges of the Orion complex. Ghibalb had once been a beautiful, verdant paradise of a planet. The early Forerunners had settled on worlds located within twelve nearby planetary systems and were content with their galactic reach.
