Deference for Darkness is a track from the Halo 3: ODST Original Soundtrack.[1] <video name="Halo_3:_ODST_OST_-_Deference_for_Darkness" width="300" align="right"/> It contains the tracks Rain, Trailhead, and Guiding Hand, another reference to the Superintendent.
The track takes place after you finish the first flashback. The first half was originally released as a sample on Bungie.Net. The second half plays randomly when roaming the Mombasa Streets.
A running joke among Halo fans started on Halo.Bungie.Org when they said that some of the second half sounded like the Macarena.
