This article is about the UNSC commissioned officer rank. For other uses, see Commander (disambiguation).
Commander is a commissioned officer rank of the UNSC Navy, equal in rank to Lieutenant Colonel in the UNSC Marine Corps, UNSC Air Force, and UNSC Army.[1]
Commanders typically serve as the executive officer (XO) (second-in-command) of a UNSC warship; however, they may also command their own warship.
