The College of Strategic Defense of the Mantle, more simply referred to as the War College, named after the Warrior-Servants duty to defend the Mantle, was a school for young Forerunner Warrior-Servants .[1] The Didact, then known as Shadow-of-Sundered-Star,[2] once taught at the school, which was also the place where he received the title "Didact"; his students gave him the name because they found him to be a strict and demanding teacher.[3]
