The MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/CQC variant, or Close Quarters Combat armor, is a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor, compatible with the Mark IV as well as the Mark V.

Description

Entering service in 2548, the CQC was the predecessor to the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/C variant, or "CQB". However, its design is less rigid, making field upgrades easier. The CQC helmet is standard equipment for missions involving close-quarters combat, including boarding actions and urban operations.[2][3]

Two uprades are availible for the helmet, the first adds a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Module (CBRN), and the second adds an Up-Armor plate with a Hardened Uplink Module on the right side (UA/HUL).

Shoulder Characteristics

The shoulders are possibly the largest shoulders available. They are rectangular and flat in shape, and have two smaller "squares" on the top and bottom. These shoulders go down to about the elbow. They can be seen in the armory at the rank of Major, and be bought at the rank of Lt.Colonel. They cost 20,000 credits each.

Trivia

  • The Mouthguard and visor shape bear some slight resemblances to the Mark VI MJOLNIR helmet.
