The Aranuka Space Tether is a space elevator on Earth. Prior to the Battle for Earth in 2552, it was one of six on the planet. Its base is located at Aranuka, a Pacific Ocean atoll predominantly formed by two large islands, Buariki and Takaeang.
History[edit]
On October 31, 2556, the UNSC Buteo's Talon was docked with the Aranuka terminus.[1]
Trivia[edit]
Like the Borneo Space Tether, it is named after an island, as opposed to a city. However, as Earth's six tethers are located in cities, it is unknown which city in Aranuka hosts the elevator.[2]
