A for Effort is an achievement in Halo: Spartan Assault for Windows. It was released on August 29, 2013 as part of the Operation F: Hydra title update, along with four other achievements. It is awarded when the player completes all Operation F mission challenges. The achievement is worth 5 Gamerscore. It is represented by a circle with a check mark inside it.[1]
The Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Spartan Assault - released December 23, 2013 and January 31, 2014, respectively - do not include the A for Effort achievement. Instead, the Operation F challenges must be completed to unlock the Extra Credit achievement, which requires the player to complete all 90 of the game's mission specific challenges, now known as "Assault Ops".
