Avu Med 'Telcam, also referred to as "The Bishop," is a Sangheili fundamentalist and a representative of the Servants of Abiding Truth (Neru Pe 'Odosima).[1] Formerly of the Covenant Army, where he obtained the rank of Field Master prior to his resignation, 'Telcam views people such as Arbiter Thel 'Vadam and his "infidels" as traitors to their faith.[1] Currently, in-consultation with the Office of Naval Intelligence, he is attempting to begin an insurrection against the larger force that brought down the final remains of the Empire at the Ark.[1]
