Kusunagi was a 2nd Generation smart UNSC Artificial Intelligence used during the Battle of Jericho VII.[1]
Name
The AI's name could possibly be a play on words of the name Kusanagi, being a Kusanagi legendary sword in Japan, or alternately, a play on words of the fictional character, Motoko Kusanagi.
