Elites are the iron heart of the covenant military. They are a proud warrior race and are the second most powerful race of beings in the Covenant hierachy and only look up on the Prophets. This is until half way through Halo 2 when the Elites are replaced with Brutes and begin a war with the Brutes and Prophets.

Combat

The Elites are fairly powerful beings with many ranks. They favour the Plasma Rifle and Energy Sword as their weapons. They useally only use the Energy Sword when injured.

Surrounding their whole body is a sheild similar to the MJOLNR sheild used by Spartans. This sheild can get in the way of causing harm to these creatures but can easily be taken down with the Plasma Pistol or to a lesser extent the Plasma Rifle. The sheild can also be taken down with any weapon but is most easilly taken down with Plasa Weapons or the Sentinel Beam.

Phisiolagy

The Elites are similar to Humans by having four limbs. But other than this they are somewhat strangly shaped. For mouths they have four manables. Above this thehave small useally black eyes. There are some acseptions though, sometimes they have yellow or red eyes. They unlike humans have hoves for feat allowing them to jump longer disinces than us.
