Lieutenant Maliki was the bridge navigation officer for the UNSC Destroyer Gorgon, the first UNSC vessel armed with a Magnetic Accelerator Cannon, commanded by Captain Preston J. Cole.[1] Maliki was present for numerous engagements with Insurrectionist forces, including three skirmishes with the Bellicose.
