Service history

During the Battle of Mombasa, war journalist Benjamin Giraud joined a small resistance force, and managed to record and translate a Sangheili message saying "We need to clear this area before we can secure access to the Ark."[2] Giraud then attempted to escape with the information, but was unable to board a fleeing boat on Mombasa's waterfront. Instead, Giraud gave his laptop containing the recording to a child that escaped aboard the Abdel.[3]
