Note that Credits spent on armory purchases do not decrease your rank. However, Credits (cR) earned from any other feature (Forge and Custom Games) are a lot less than those that are awarded for playing multiplayer via Xbox Live. All ranking is currently capped at Lt. Colonel Rank 3.
