The Plasma Battery is the Covenant equivalent to the UNSC Fusion Core. Set to appear in Halo 3's multiplayer and possibly campaign, the purpose of the Plasma Battery is likely the recharging of plasma-based weaponry. How it operates is currently unknown, pending treaty with Sangheili.
