The UNSC School of the North Star was a prestigious training and education facility of the United Nations Space Command,[1] located on Earth.[2]
Prior to attending an Officer Candidate School, James Cutter was enrolled in the school on September 15, 2500, where he studied with an emphasis in astronavigation and political science and graduated with the honors magna cum laude.[2]
Behind the scenes
The name of the facility is likely a reference to Fist of the North Star (Hokuto No Ken), an anime/manga series which Frank O'Connor happens to be a huge fan of.[3]
