Halopedia's forum policy is as follows. They are set according to the category of forum they are in.
General Rules
- Spamming, advertising, and soapbox content in any category will not be tolerated.
- Any user found spamming or advertising in forums will be blocked in accordance with administrative decision. See the Blocking Policy.
- Forums should generally be easy to read. No leet speech.
Categories
There are three types of forums on Halopedia. The rules for each follow.
Support Requests
- Forum should be at least more than one paragraph long.
- Requests to fix broken templates.
- Requests to learn wiki-coding.
- Proposals to change or create new templates.
General Discussion
- Content shouldn't ask if an item should have been in a particular video game. These forums will get redundant pretty quickly.
- Must be at least a paragraph long.
- Must pertain to the Halo Universe in some way.
Community Proposal
- Used to propose new policies
- Should be an actual proposal. Not a proposal to change a particular article. Stuff like that can go on the article's talk page.
