Summary

The Combat Knife is a multi-purpose knife used by the soilders of the United Nations Space Command. It has a 20 centimeter blade made from high carbon steel anti-flash non-reflective titanium carbide coating, edge coated for corrosion resistance and is 43.3 centimeters when sheathed.[1]

Appearances

The Combat Knife is rarely used in the Halo Series, but it is present on the suits of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. It is also present on MJOLNIR Powered Assualt Armor. These Combat Knives were not used in actual gameplay, but they were used in various cutscenes during the games.

In Halo Wars, Sergeant John Forge uses a Combat Knife he named "Lucy". He used it to wound Ripa 'Moramee, giving him enough time to kill him with his own Energy Sword. It is also used by Edward Buck to kill a Jiralhanae Cheiftain, after stabbing his neck.
