Commander Re'gish Warnik was a Sangheilian Field Master in the Covenant military. He served during the Third Battle of Harvest in 2531 [1]. He commanded the Covenant forces that found the doorway to the Relic. He sent a message to the High Prophet Regret informing him of their findings and requesting that he send the Arbiter so that they may open the Relic.
Naming
His name is unusual for a Sangheili, as it lacks the 'ee suffix in his last name. Also, his first name, Re'gish, is not the normal four letter name that Elites normally have as a first name.
Death
It is unknown if Re'gish died on Harvest, but it is probable that he fought with the Covenant forces trying to stop the UNSC from disabling the Covenant bomb in the Forerunner relic. He was probably killed by the Spirit of Fire's soldiers.
Trivia
- He's probably the Elite who John Forge sees arguing with the Arbiter about opening the Relic.
