Communism was ultimately dissolved in 1992 in most nations of Earth from the result of the Cold War. The only other countries to survive as a Communist state were North Korea; China; Laos; Vietnam and Cuba. There were also underground neo-communist groups remaining as far as at least the mid-22nd century. Neo-Communist hard-liner, Vladimir Koslov, and a neo-communist movement called the "Koslovics" fought against the United Nations during the Interplanetary War of 2160 - 2164, and ultimately lost.
