To add or not to add the American Revolution?[edit]

Okay, I've been discussing this with Sgt.johnson. Should we add the American Revolution as the earliest war in the template? Considering that the marines were first created back then, and the UNSC marines are based off the US marines, we should add the American Revolution because of its historical importance to the UNSC Marine Corps. Please vote your decision:

Yes, add the American Revolution[edit]

  1. Yes, because it has influenced the UNSC Marine Corps heavily. --UNSC Trooper File:unsctrooper_small.jpg|14px]] TalkMy Work 18:55, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

No, don't add the American Revolution[edit]

Don't add it. -- Sgt.johnsonFile:General-gr1.gif|30px]] 19:10, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Adding World War I[edit]

Hereby I propose you to add World War I to the list because it was the first major armed conflict fought by humanity and It caused the establishing of the League of Nations, the predecessor organisation to the United Nations. What do you think about it? -Mainzer1992 16:42, 15 March 2008 (UTC +1)

Well, although it is an important war in human history, it is not DIRECTLY relevant to Halo, in that it is too remotely connected to Halo, if that makes any sense. Let's put it this way: World War II is important for Halo because: 1) During that time the UN (the supreme authority of the UNSC) was formed. 2) Because it is the first time nuclear bombs were used, which are still being used in the Haloverse. 3) Because it is referenced in multiple Halo media (Halo Graphic Novel, I Love Bees). World War I has no relevant connection to Halo (apart from the League of Nations thing, which is as I said VERY REMOTELY relevant to Halo), it has not influenced the Haloverse in any way, and it was not referenced in Halo media. Hope this clears it up. --UNSC Trooper File:unsctrooper_small.jpg|14px]] TalkMy Work 17:28, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
