I've done the trick before and it is very easy!
Follow my instructions... Once you see the jugle area right after you've finished the map before start pressing the nade button over and over again until the pelican you're in takes off with you in it. Then just wait until the pelican stops,get out and start exploring around witout going off the huge ledge. Then you'll find him!
