Talk:Outstanding Airman of the Year Ribbon

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Truthfulness?[edit]

I highly doubt that this is what the ribbon means. Keyes is a navy officer, this award is for air force enlisted men. In fact, its not possible for him to have won it. --ED(talk)(shockfront) 16:19, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey, go look at Keyes' ribbons. He's wearing the exact ribbon. Its meaning may have changed over 550 years, but it is the same in appearance. -The Dark Lord Azathoth 20:24, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

ive just had a look at the captain keyes picture, and i cannot see that medal anywhere on him. i dont think that, even if he has a ribbon similar in appearance, it would be the airman of the year. it is probably just another campaign ribbon or something Triggerhappymole 15:35, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

That ribbon is on Keyes uniform.

Since Eric Nylund seems to think that Air Force roles have been folded into the UNSC Navy (See here), I'd say that so did their medals and decorations. Perhaps only pilots can earn them? In that case, it says something about Keyes' early service. Specops306, Kora 'Morhek 07:12, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
