| :Doesn't mean it's full auto. When the weapon is shot in-game, you clearly see Chief allow the trigger to come back forward after firing. In a semi-automatic weapon, this resets the sear. In a full auto weapon (and there still is no selector switch), the sear would be reset by another mechanism, allowing you to hold down the trigger.
