Swamp fungus

The swamp fungus[1] is an exotic interplanetary organism found on Forerunner installations, including the swamps above Flood containment facilities on Installation 04[2] and 05.[3] It was also known to the Covenant, most notably in its decorative use aboard High Charity.[4]
Production notes
The fungus possesses a remarkable similarity to the Flood pod infectors which appear later in the Combat Evolved campaign level, including the same bioluminescent glow.
