Corporal Lovik was a Marine Corporal attached to the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in 2552. When that ship crashed onto Installation 04, Lovik abandoned the ship and landed on the Halo with the rest of the crew. He then joined the rest of the survivors at Alpha Base.
Corporal Lovik led second squad in a recon mission on a believed Covenant base that included Private Riley, Private Manuel Mendoza, Private Kappus, Private Bisenti, Sergeant Major Johnson, and Private Jenkins.[1]
