List of Halo 2 medals

Medals are a reward for completing a number of actions mid-game in Halo 2. In total, Halo 2 has 23 medals across all gamemodes.

Multi-Kill medals

Killamanjaro		Kill 7 opponents within 4 seconds of each other.	"Killamanjaro."
Multi-Spree medals
Killing Spree		Kill 5 opponents without dying.	"Killing Spree."
Running Riot		Kill 10 opponents without dying.	"Running Riot."
Rampage		Kill 15 opponents without dying.	"In the zone."
Berserker		Kill 20 opponents without dying.	"Untouchable."
Overkill		Kill 25 opponents without dying.	"Unfrikinbelievable!"
Standard Kill medals
Assassinated		Kill an opponent by performing a melee attack from behind.
Beat Down		Kill an opponent by performing a melee attack.
Splattered		Kill an opponent by hitting them with a vehicle.
Sniped		Kill an opponent with any Sniper.
Stuck		Stick an opponent with a Plasma Grenade that kills them.
Style medals
Boarded		Hijack a enemy occupied vehicle.
Assault medals
Bomb Planted		Plant a bomb in the enemy base.	"Bomb planted."
Killed Bomb Carrier		Kill the enemy bomb carrier.
Capture the Flag medals
Flag Captured		Capture a flag.	"Flag captured."
Killed Flag Carrier		Kill the enemy flag carrier.
Flag Taken		Grab the enemy flag.	"Flag taken."
Flag Returned		Return your flag.	"Flag returned."

Trivia

• Halo 2 is the only Halo game that features different medal icons in the scoreboard menu.
• In Halo 2, the famous Unfriggenbelievable medal is actually named Overkill, you can obtain it in just 25 kills instead of 40, and the Multiplayer Announcer says Unfrikinbelievable! when you obtain it.
• When Halo 2 Vista came out in 2007, a list of achievement names featuring various medals didn't actually match the in-game names. Since then, many people have used the Achievement names as the official medal names incorrectly.
