Yanme'e Queen

A Yanme'e Queen is the leader of a Yanme'e hive. Little is known about them, besides the fact that they are extremely large, with elongated abdomens, requiring the support of subservient males carrying them on cushioned litters for transport. It could be assumed that Yanme'e Queens lead their hive, giving birth to new Yanme'e and soldiers for its maintenance and defense. It presumably either resides on the Yanme'e home world or on High Charity. Due to the high numbers of Yanme'e in the Covenant it would seem that there would need to be more than one female filling the reproductive role. Only one has been seen in the series during the Ascension ceremony of the High Prophets of Truth, Regret, and Mercy.
