Like their seabound equivalents, Yachts are small leisure spacecraft used by wealthy human civilians as personal transport and for long-duration cruises. UNSC Prowlers are often disguised as Yachts by the Office of Naval Intelligence, as a cover for their activities and to avoid suspicion. Because of their limited capacity to sustain their naval forces, the United Rebel Front will also often retrofit such ships for military use.[1]
Notable Yachts
- The Spartan 1.1 Faction acquired a Yacht with which they could use to fight the Covenant.
- The UNSC Apocalypso, while actually an ONI spy ship, disguised itself as a yacht.[2]
- The Circumference, destroyed over Reach, was being refitted as part of Operation: HYPODERMIC to look like a Yacht[3].
