The creature preparing to attack its prey.
This Unidentified sea creature is an aquatic predator native to Sanghelios. It possesses several tentacles, similar to those of Cephalopods on Earth.
One of these animals was encountered by a group of Sangheili, who were engaged in practice duels on a boat as part of their training. After one Sangheili managed to knock his opponent off the boat, the creature noticed the splashes and attempted to attack and drown the Sangheili which had been knocked off of the boat. The Sangheili could not fight against the creature's strength, and presumably drowned or was consumed by the creature.
Trivia
- The scene in which the creature attacks a Sangheili is quite similar to the scene in Halo 2 where John-117 was captured by the Gravemind on Installation 05.
