The Threshold Array is presumably a UNSC station or system of stations that was established in the orbit of the planet Threshold in the Soell system after the Human-Covenant War. Its purpose likely was to monitor the many Forerunner installations near Threshold and to help enforce the exclusion zone surrounding the former site of Installation 04, probably exercising a role similar to that of Ivanoff Station and Lisbon Station. In 2558, the array's Station AI, Kue Ching, defected from the UNSC and declared its alligance to Cortana's Created.[1]
