Trivia

  • The first musical section, "Return", is a reference to the fact that NOBLE Team has returned to SWORD Base after their previous mission to defend it.
  • The second musical section, "Simple Things", is a reference to a conversation between Jun-A266 and Emile-A239 about how the Office of Naval Intelligence sent them to SWORD Base for "a simple demo-op".
  • The third musical section, "Torch and Burn", is a direct quotation of NOBLE Team's original mission to SWORD Base.
  • The sixth musical section, "Say the Words", is a direct quote from Doctor Catherine Halsey when handing the Package to SPARTAN-B312.
  • At 5:43, as part of the section "Say the Words", an excerpt from the track "Keep What You Steal" from the Halo 3 Soundtrack is played.
    • It is a reference to Cortana as she is known as "the package."
    • Interestingly, both themes play in cutscenes during their respective games while Cortana is "picked up" by a Spartan.
