What's his rank?[edit]

While I understand that his Warthog has a flag for a Light General, Black's epaulets clearly display 4 stars, which makes him O-10 or a full General Officer. Not certain as to the discrepancy. Perhaps he was recently promoted? In any event, shouldn't we update him based upon the rank displayed on his uniform? DJenser

His uniform also states that he's a Captain in the Navy (gold bands on shoulder boards) and a "fourth grade" Second Lieutenant (gold bars on collar); you can see much of the same insignia on Andrew Del Rio, a Captain. Simply put, unless there's a specific rank that you can gleam from sources, you can't trust the insignia on UNSC uniforms in the Haloverse. Grizzlei ♥ ツ
