Sumai keep, also known as the Keep of Sumai, is a keep in the state of Bothaes on the continent of Qivro on Sanghelios, the Sangheili homeworld. [1]
History[edit]
The keep was the birthplace of Usze 'Taham,[1] who was born into a prominent merchant family within Sumai keep.[2] Under custom, when Usze came of age he left the keep and moved to the military bastion of Yermo.[1]

Honor[edit]
The keep was held in honor as Toha 'Sumai was considered widely to be one of the greatest swordfighters in all of Sanghelios.[1]
Customs[edit]
Sumai has its own battle stance, it involves the Sangheili swinging his energy sword right to left and back in a slow arc.[3]
