A skorken was a species of aquatic animal native to Sanghelios. Skorkens lived in swamps and were known to make attempts to eat beings that got too close to their swamp. Calling an individual a skorken was seen as an insult, used to refer to someone that intentionally aggravated others.[1] The Sangheili expression "move like a skorken with its tail afire" meant for one to move with urgency.[2]
