The Type-58 Directed Energy Support Weapon (T-58 DESW),[1] simply known as the plasma cannon, was in service with both the Swords of Sanghelios and Jul 'Mdama's Covenant during the Blooding Years. In addition to being used as a stationary and portable turret, it was also used as secondary weapons for the Type-57 Phantom and Type-58 Wraith.[2]
