The Revenant is a Covenant vehicle utilized during the Battle of Reach.[1]

Design details

The Revenant is an infantry support vehicle armed with a plasma-based weapon that functions similar to the plasma mortar mounted on Covenant Wraiths, but on a smaller scale. It is rather agile, and can boost[2], but provides little protection for its occupants.

It is known to carry at least two individuals; the pilot and a passenger in a side-mounted seat. The pilot has limited protection from small arms fire, a disadvantage that is also present to Halo 2's Spectre ground vehicle.

  • The name Revenant come from the French word revenant which means for someone or something that come back from the grave, usually in a ghostly form.
