Richard Moody was a human who listened to Benjamin Giraud's Hunt the Truth audio journal in 2558. After Giraud's entries uncovered coverups by the UNSC about the Master Chief history, Moody sent Giraud an audio email where he accused Giraud of trying to shame humanity's hero. He demanded that Giraud cease his investigation and let the Master Chief's actions, or even his own testimony, be the one to tell the public what mattered about him.[2]
