The Notes on the History of the Covenant is a document written by Zo Resken, the former Prophet of Clarity, about the history of the Covenant empire. The document reflected on the Rending, the rebellion led by Ussa 'Xellus, and the involvement of Resken's ancestor, Mken 'Scre'ah'ben. The incorporation of the Lekgolo, Yanme'e, Kig-Yar, Unggoy, and Jiralhanae were also mentioned in the document. The document also noted the discovery of humanity, the beginning of the Human-Covenant War, the Fall of Reach, and the Battle of Installation 04.
