Naxan is a Sangheili living in the State of Mdama, Sanghelios during the post-Human-Covenant War era.[1]

During the Human-Covenant War he helped Raia 'Mdama, his grand-niece, maintain Bekan Keep. He taught the children at the keep the art of swordsmanship and basic combat skills. He taught female children as well as males, something Jul ‘Mdama felt was important in order to ensure that the keep could be well-defended in case of an emergency. He was a very strict mentor, rapping his pupils on the head with a stick if they made a mistake. Following the disappearance of Jul and the death of Raia, Naxan became the elder of Bekan keep.[2]
