Mickey was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper in the UNSC Marine Corps [1]. He is the Demolition expert for The Squad.
Mickey served during the First Battle of Earth in 2552 [2]. In the Gameplay Trailer for Halo 3: ODST, by slowing down the video during the drop to New Mombasa you can see that Mickey's drop pod loses power and slams into the Rookies pod, cracking the window.
Mickey is voiced by Alan Tudyk, who casts alongside Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin in Sci-Fi's Firefly. Tudyk also voices the one of the marines in Halo 3, most noteably the Corpsman who walks you through the basics on the level Arrival.
