Kibkib Yany was an Unggoy who served Jul 'Mdama's reformed Covenant faction. In October 2558, 'Mdama led his forces—including Yany—to the Forerunner world of Kamchatka, apparently in search for weapons to use against Arbiter Thel 'Vadam's Swords of Sanghelios.[1]
In his personal journal, Yany noted that he despised being on Kamchatka, as he hated the cold.
