The Holding chamber are chambers within High Charity that are used for holding prisoners. There are six chambers in each hallway leading from the central gravity lift, and, although the Master Chief only goes into two of the holding blocks to rescue Marines, there seem to be fifteen hallways, five on each floor.[1]
