The Halo 4: Original Soundtrack is the musical score to Halo 4. Like the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, was split into two volumes, which were released 5 months apart. Volume 1 was released on October 22, 2012.[1] and Volume 2 will be release on April 9, 2013.[2] The soundtrack was composed by Neil Davidge.[3] Unlike previous soundtrack albums, many music used in the game didn't appear in the soundtrack.

Limited Edition
A Special Limited Edition box set was released on November 4, 2012 and available in limited quantities. The Limited Edition includes:
- Original 15-track soundtrack
- Bonus CD including remixes by DJ Skee & THX, Gui Boratto, Sander Van Doorn & Julian Jordan, Apocalyptica, Caspa and more.
- 180-gram, 12" picture disk vinyl of remixes.
- Making of Halo 4 Music DVD and book that feature behind-the-scenes photos and footage from the Abbey Road sessions, as well as Neil Davidge's production and composition notes.
- 12" Halo 4 art print.
- The first 5,000 special edition box sales include a Halo 4 UNSC T-shirt Xbox LIVE Avatar download code.
- The Limited Edition soundtrack is 117 minutes long.
