Domiciles were living quarters of various sizes used by the Forerunners. The interiors of domiciles were mainly composed of hard light so that the occupants could design the furniture however they desired.[1] The size and interior design of domiciles varied between rates and social positions; while domiciles of wealthy Builders, such as that of Bornstellar's family, could be enormous, containing thousands of rooms and kilometers of corridors,[2] Councilor domiciles were small and ascetic in design.[3]
