David Ellis is a content producer for the Halo Waypoint team at 343 Industries. He also hosts the 343 Sparkast. He was formerly a writer for the video game website 1UP.com[1] and later at Electronic Gaming Monthly. Prior to his career in video game media, Ellis served as a corrections officer in California; at one point he was stabbed by an inmate whom he had confined to solitary.[2]
